Anthropology PhD ranked second in Three Minute Thesis competition

Kaitlin East (PhD candidate, Department of Anthropology) placed second overall in the School of Graduate Studies Three-Minute Thesis (3MT) competition.

Kaitlin East (PhD candidate) had three minutes to tell a panel of judges about her research on measuring levels of stress in ancient Egyptian human hair. Kaitlin's presentation was ranked first for the Faculty of Social Sciences and second in the overall competition. Kaitlin also won the 'Competitor's Choice' award, which is based on votes from all the finalists in the competition.
