PACER Award 2024-25 Recipient: Collaborative Archaeologies, Decolonized Foodways

The Collaborative Archaeologies, Decolonized Foodways community-based project, led by partners Andrew Roddick, Adrianne Lickers Xavier, Scott Martin, Lindi Masur, and Tanya Hill-Montour, has won Stream 1 (Established Projects/Longstanding Partnerships) of the President’s Award for Community-Engaged Research (PACER). The project explores the history of Indigenous foodways in the Six Nations of the Grand River (Haudenosaunee) territory using a collaborative settler-Indigenous archaeology approach.
